Need a holiday already? Our day retreat at Bundeena feels like just that. It’s a chance to disconnect from the busyness of life and re-connect to you and your body. A quiet escape just across the water in the gorgeous chilled-out atmosphere of Bundeena. Set right on the beach, you couldn’t wish for a more picturesque setting. There’s no rushing, everything is slow and steady – calming and soothing the nervous system the entire day. You will arrive back in Cronulla refreshed, relaxed and recharged.
Have a little mini-holiday the first day of March. Just one day will allow you a real break from the stress of every day life. Enough time out to break the cycle of ‘doing’ and just ‘be’.
Start unwinding by catching the 8.30am ferry across our beautiful Port Hacking waterway to Bundeena, the trip will begin to de-stress you already. Just off the ferry is a chance to get a coffee or just stroll the 5 minutes over the white sand to our beachfront venue, Bundeena House, our home for the day.
There’s time to have a cup of tea and orient yourselves before laying out your mat and coming into the yoga space. The first yoga session will help you to feel the body, to disconnect from the mind chatter and connect more deeply
to the wisdom of the body.
Then enjoy a well-deserved scrumptious vegetarian lunch followed by Jennies famous hummingbird cake. (no pressure Jen 😉 There’s space for a swim, a leisurely walk down the beach or just simply sit and enjoy the company of fellow yogis.
The afternoon session is a beautiful soothing restorative session including some pranayama. Pranayama can help to energise and invigorate you all the while keeping the nerves calm, and the mind quiet.
Finish it all off by catching the 4pm ferry back to Cronulla – and absolutely wonderful way to cap off the day!!
