General Yoga Classes

Our general yoga classes at Seabreeze Yoga Cronulla are dynamic, but still suitable for active beginners.


A wider variety of yoga poses are taught, as compared to beginner-level classes. Along with the basic poses, you can expect to explore more challenging postures, instruction and sequences, including inversions and preparation for inversions.


Inversions are yoga poses where the head is positioned below the heart, such as handstands or headstands. They require a certain level of preparation to ensure you have the strength, stability, and body awareness to achieve the final posture safely.  


But don’t worry!
Alternatives are always given if inversions are not for you. During the class there are modifications or variations of the poses taught to make the practice more accessible for newer students, or those with injuries or health conditions.  This ensures that everyone in the class can participate and progress safely at their own pace.


Overall, general classes with a duration of 1 hour to 1.5 hours offer a dynamic and varied yoga practice, providing both challenge and support for beginners and more experienced practitioners alike.
