I went along to Seabreeze Yoga as an absolute beginner around 18 months ago. Bridget quickly made me feel comfortable.
She is easily able to work with people at all levels within the one class.
Looking back, I can’t believe how much further I can reach, how much longer I can balance, or how much stronger I am.
By 10 minutes into the class, my stress dissipates. I seemed to always be at the physio or chiro with a bad back, neck, legs .… always something.
It’s a rare day I go to the chiro now.
Bridget seems to remember everyone’s injuries and modifies exercises to suit individuals.If I ever think of missing a class, my husband urges me to go…
He says “Please go…you come back happy!”

Bridget and Seabreeze Yoga were a godsend for me during my cancer treatment and post operative recovery.
This continues to this day, four years later.
I have not come across someone more giving and accepting of her clients limitations, and I have many! I stand better, my chest is more open – not concave like it was when I first started. I have improved my movement, breathing, and ability to relax.
She regularly offers special workshops, which are fantastic, I am attending a Restorative/breathing one this weekend. And just last week she changed a class structure to cater to her clients needs. A few of us had sore knees.
She is the only teacher I have been to who shows you the pose and then monitors/adjusts her clients and supplies aids so they don’t over tax themselves, that means me. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

I thought yoga was all mung beans, green tea and solely the domain of girls…. Then I went to one of Bridget’s classes. Bridget explains everything in simple terms and focuses on your specific needs, no matter how big the class. I encourage everyone who wants to improve their flexibility to give it a go, especially the blokes!!

I have attended Seabreeze Yoga regularly for the past 6 years and I have been very pleased with my progress. Bridget is a most knowledgable and caring instructor knowing all her students and their particular problems, and tailoring their practices to suit the individual. Unlike other forms of yoga, Iyengar teachers are required to undertake ongoing rigorous training, and this is evidenced by Bridget’s expert instructional ability, attention to detail and capacity to cater for all ages and ability levels with any given class.
After years of participation with many teachers, only Bridget has been able to extend my practice beyond physical expectations. Can’t recommend highly enough – every class is an 11/10!
